It is with deep sadness that we must inform you of the passing of Mr Geoff Poole on 29th October.  Geoff was a long serving member of staff who worked at the school for 38 years.  He was originally recruited from ICI in the early 1960's by Headteacher, Mr Peter Cross, to put hockey on the map.  Geoff taught chemistry, organised hockey and was Deputy Headteacher for 23 years prior to his retirement.  He was a well-respected member of staff who was highly thought of by colleagues and students alike.  Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.  Funeral details will follow shortly.
