Calday alumni continue to play an important role in supporting our school by taking part in careers fairs, workshops, giving presentations and by providing work experience. Our alumni are excellent role models and regularly share the stories of their career paths with our current students.
We encourage and enable students to make and implement well-informed and realistic decisions about their future. We are committed to providing careers support within the PSHE curriculum and impartial careers information and advice with one to one guidance. We also invite career professionals and former students into school to talk to appropriate groups of students about their university and career experiences.
We are currently building a community of former students and staff who are willing to support our careers team at Calday. We will be running career workshops throughout the academic year to support our students by utilising our fantastic Calday alumni. We invite alumni in any profession into school or online to give guidance to our students.
For these workshops you would be presenting to around 10-20 students and in the previous workshops, we asked presenters to talk a bit about their career pathway, their experiences (pos and neg), and what is crucial to be successful in pursuing a career within their profession.
Our goal is to help the next generation of Caldeians succeed in their professional fields with your guidance. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact alumni@calday.co.uk
